Indian healthcare startup develops AI test to check gut health

Bengaluru-based startup MicrobioTx has developed an AI-powered Gut Function Test that uses a finger-prick blood sample to evaluate an individual’s gut microbiome, generating personalised health insights. Referring to the test, co-founder Akanksha Gupta had said, "We've taken a data-driven approach to develop...AI based model to profile...gut microbiome." Notably, it is supported by a DPIIT grant.
