Indian in UK gets 7-yr jail for rape after DNA match from earphones

An Indian man, who fled to India in 2017 after raping a woman in the UK, has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment for the sexual assault. The police located Ajay Rana's earphones and matched DNA from them with swabs taken from the victim. They issued a European Arrest Warrant, following which he was detained by Spanish Police in Bilbao.
