Indian industry upbeat after Rubio hints at India-US trade deal

Indian industry leaders expressed optimism after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Washington is close to finalising a bilateral trade deal with India. EEPC Chairman Pankaj Chadha and FICCI CMSME's Harjinder Talwar welcomed the remarks and a US waiver on Russia-related tariffs, calling them positive for exporters and MSMEs. Rubio is visiting India October 17–22.
