Indian IT must evolve from SaaS to AI-as-a-Service: Vaishnaw

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw urged the Indian IT industry to evolve from a Software-as-a-Service model to "AI-as-a-Service" model, leveraging India's trusted global reputation and skilled talent pool. He said that 12 semiconductor manufacturing plants are currently at various stages of development. Three plants are producing chips for exports to Japan, Europe and the domestic market, he added.
