Indian man stuck in Bahrain since 1983, to return home to Kerala

A 74-year-old man who was stranded in Bahrain since 1983 is returning home to Kerala, according to the NGO Pravasi Legal Cell. Gopalan Chandran had reportedly gone to the Middle Eastern country over four decades ago for better work opportunities. However, after his employer passed away, Chandran's passport got lost and he became undocumented, it added.
