Indian man hides fake diamond in mouth, steals real one worth ₹1.5 cr; jailed in Singapore

Indian national MM Kurjibhai was jailed in Singapore for stealing a ₹1.5-crore diamond from a jewellery shop with his accomplice SM Ramnikbhai. Ramnikbhai kept the diamond’s exact replica, which was made in India, hidden in his mouth. As Kurjibhai distracted shop’s employee, Ramnikbhai spat and replaced the real diamond with the fake, before being caught hours later at Changi airport.
