Indian Military Nursing Service: Vital arm of AFMS since 1888

The Military Nursing Service (MNS), part of the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) of the Indian Army was established in 1888 under British rule. It comprises women officers who provide nursing care to armed forces personnel and their families.
