Indian Navy's Boeing P-8I aircraft begins operations from Goa

The Indian Navy's Boeing P-8I aircraft commenced operations on Tuesday from Goa's INS Hansa after two aircraft arrived on December 30. The aircraft were inducted after fitment of indigenous equipment and Flight Acceptance Trials. Indian Navy had acquired first batch of eight P-8I aircraft in 2013. The Centre signed a deal with Boeing for four additional P-8I aircraft in 2016.
