Indian-origin 17-yr-old Riddhi Chauhan commands 300 US Navy cadets
17-year-old Indian-origin student Riddhi Chauhan is leading nearly 300 cadets in her school's Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) unit as Battalion Commanding Officer, the highest rank in the programme. NJROTC is a US Navy-backed leadership programme running in US high schools. Riddhi, who is inspired by the teachings of Mahant Swami Maharaj, aspires to become a Naval Officer.
