Indian-origin chess prodigy Bodhana Sivanandan has become Britain's youngest-ever women's chess champion at the age of 11. Sivanandan defeated Ireland’s 14-year-old Trisha Kanyamarala in a rapid playoff to win the title at the British Chess Championships in Coventry. She broke the record set in 1939 by Elaine Pritchard, who was 13.
