Indian-origin CEO's startup Emerald AI features on TIME100 list

Nvidia-backed energy tech startup Emerald AI has been featured on the "TIME100 most influential companies" in the world list. The company is founded by India-origin Varun Sivaram. Emerald AI is a technology company that enables AI data centres to flexibly consume electricity and bolster the power grid. In 2025, Emerald AI raised a $24.5 million seed round backed by Nvidia.
