Indian-origin cop killed after being run over by escaped patient in Canada

An Indian-origin police constable in Canada, 29-year-old Tarun Bali, was killed on duty after a vehicle ran him over on Tuesday. An 18-year-old who had allegedly escaped from a hospital assessing him for mental illness has been arrested for the act on charges of murder. Authorities have yet to publicly identify the suspect, and the investigation is ongoing.
