Indian-origin doctor who drove his family off 250-ft cliff walks free after therapy in US

A United States court has dropped all charges against Indian-origin doctor Dharmesh Patel, who drove his Tesla off a 250-ft cliff with his wife and two children inside in 2023 during a "psychotic breakdown". The charges were dropped as he completed a two-year mental health program. All four occupants of the car survived, with officials calling it an "absolute miracle".
