Indian-origin Ireland player Simranjit Singh battling for life
India-born Ireland cricketer Simranjit Singh a.k.a Simi Singh has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. The 37-year-old is suffering from acute liver failure, waiting for a liver transplant to be performed at the hospital. Simarnjit Singh was born in Mohali, and he played for Punjab at underage cricket before joining Ireland cricket.
