Indian-origin jail guard 'falls in love' with inmate in Canada, allows him to use phone

Ramandeep Rai, an Indian-origin jail guard at North Fraser Pretrial Centre in Port Coquitlam, Canada, has been sentenced to a two-year conditional sentence for forming a romantic relationship with an inmate and allowing him to use a cellphone. The inmate carried out a drug trade from inside the jail. Her lawyer said she agreed that she made a mistake.
