Indian-origin man abuses hospital staff in S'pore, fined ₹4.5 lakh

A 30-year-old Indian-origin man was fined approximately ₹4.5 lakh after pleading guilty to verbally abusing hospital staff, including a doctor and a security officer in Singapore. The man, identified as Mohanarajan Mohan, had also abused police officers while being intoxicated. Mohanarajan, who represented himself in court, attributed his behaviour to stress and depression owing to his divorce.
