Indian-origin mother jailed for hiding knife after son killed 18-yr-old teen in UK

Kiran Kaur, the mother of British Sikh man Vickrum Digwa, has been sentenced to three years in prison for helping remove the weapon used to fatally stab 18-year-old Henry Nowak in south-east England. She was convicted of assisting an offender. Digwa, who claimed self-defence, was earlier sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years.
