Indian-origin MP Anita Anand drops out of Canada PM race

Canada's Transport Minister and Indian-origin MP Anita Anand has quit the race to succeed Justin Trudeau as Prime Minister, days after the latter announced he would resign. In a statement released on Sunday, Anand said she would return to her "prior professional life of teaching, research and public policy analyses". Another Indian-origin MP George Chahal is reportedly in PM race.
