Indian-origin scientist Gautam Dey wins EMBO Gold Medal in Europe

Indian-origin scientist Gautam Dey, who works at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Germany, has been awarded the EMBO Gold Medal for exceptional contributions to life sciences in Europe. Dey was recognised for his research on the evolutionary origins of nuclear organisation and cell division. He shared the honour with Omaya Dudin of the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
