Indian-origin student records 11.99 GPA in US, sets record

An Indian-origin student, Vaibhav Bhaskar, recorded an 11.99 GPA in Florida while graduating from Steinbrenner High, and set a new state record. Bhaskar surpassed the previous Florida record of 11.84 and will now attend Duke University to study finance and economics. He said he had listed his goals on a white board, with his main goal being becoming a valedictorian.
