An Indian-origin woman working as a healthcare assistant with UK's National Health Service has received £1,425 (nearly ₹1.8 lakh) as remuneration after being called "aunty" by a co-worker. Her colleague kept calling her aunty despite multiple requests to use her proper name instead. She claimed that she had been subjected to harassment on the basis of her age.
