Indian para athletes Gavit, Basil accuse IOA staffer of misconduct

Indian para sprinters Dilip Gavit and Mohammed Basil have lodged complaints with the Sports Ministry and the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) against an IOA media committee member, The Times of India reported. They alleged rude and disrespectful behaviour towards para athletes during the Commonwealth Games 2026 and sought action. Gavit and Basil won gold and silver, respectively, at CWG 2026.
