Indian para athletes win record seven medals at CWG 2026

India's para athletes created history at the Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2026, winning a record seven medals to equal India's combined tally from all previous editions. The 28-member contingent finished with three gold, two silver and two bronze medals. Since para sports were introduced at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, India had won seven medals across all earlier editions combined.
