Indian parents forgive driver after son’s death in accident in UAE

A Kerala-born Indian expat couple in the UAE forgave the driver whose car fatally struck their 22-month-old child in Sharjah. The incident occurred in a sandy parking area near their residence. Calling it an “unfortunate accident”, the child’s father, Sherafudheen, said there were lapses from all sides and punishing the driver would not bring their son back.
