Indian phone maker Lava fails to pay November salaries on time

Indian phone maker Lava International has delayed the payment of November salaries to employees and said they will be paid in two parts. Explaining the delay, Chairman Hari Om Rai told employees that entry of "highly prepared Chinese companies", online discounts and demonetisation have affected Lava. Further, suppliers of the nine-year-old company have not received their payments in full.
