Indian Railways, CONCOR boost tank container capacity to 31MT

Indian Railways & CONCOR have undertaken an initiative to enhance the load-carrying capacity of 20-foot tank containers. This will increase the capacity from 26 metric tonnes to 31 metric tonnes. The capacity enhancement has been achieved through modifications in the design and height of the containers, aimed at improving operational efficiency and optimising freight movement.
