Indian Railways eyes Vande Bharat exports to B'desh, Africa, Latin America: Report

Indian Railways and RITES Ltd are reportedly working on a standard-gauge version of Vande Bharat Express to explore its export potential. Demand for the semi-high-speed train has reportedly emerged from markets in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Africa and Latin America. Vande Bharat trains are currently produced at Integral Coach Factory, Chennai, and coach factories in Kapurthala and Raebareli.
