Indian Railways introduces QR-based system for food security

Indian Railways has now decided to introduce QR-based ID cards and digitally traceable food packets to prevent unauthorised vending operations at Indian railway stations. This will ensure that all passengers get safe and hygienic meals during their journey. To further enhance the quality of meals, popular brands of cooking oil, atta, rice, pulses, paneer and dairy products will be used.
