Indian Railways launches service to improve parcel movement

Indian Railways has launched RailParcel, a pilot initiative aimed at improving parcel movement through rail. The service is launched in seven cities-Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru & Chennai under the leadership of the South-Central Railway zone. lt is designed to enhance efficiency of rail-based parcel logistics.
