Indian Railways launches special Jammu-Srinagar trains amid Amarnath Yatra

Indian Railways has launched special train services between Jammu and Srinagar to facilitate the ongoing 57-day Amarnath Yatra and improve passenger convenience. Aadhaar-based verification, on-the-spot registration for fresh pilgrims and enhanced security measures are also in place amid a surge in devotees travelling to Kashmir. The yatra began on July 3 and is scheduled to conclude on August 28.
