Indian Railways Passengers Can Now Book Tickets From Anywhere

Indian Railways has lifted the restriction on outer limit geo-fencing distance for booking journey and platform tickets through the Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS) mobile app, effective immediately. Saurabh Kataria, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, announced that passengers can now book unreserved tickets and platform tickets from any station, eliminating the need to visit ticket counters.
