Indian soldiers to march in Paris after 107 years on Bastille Day
A 269-member tri-services contingent of Indian soldiers will march in Paris after 107 years for the Bastille Day parade on July 14. India and France are celebrating 25 years of their strategic partnership this year. The last time Indian soldiers marched in Paris was in 1916 victory parade when they, as part of British Indian Army, helped France defeat Germany.
