Indian stargazers share pictures of rare comet last seen 80,000 years ago

Multiple stargazers shared pictures of the rare Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet, which is said to have last appeared 80,000 years ago. In a picture shared by Cosmic Trails, the comet was seen over Ladakh's Gongma la. In pictures shared by Sathya Narayanan Sridhar and Keerthi Kiran, the comet was seen over Tamil Nadu's Mahabalipuram and Karnataka's Bengaluru respectively.
