Indian startups' funding fell 77% YoY in Jan-July period: Report

Venture capital and private equity funding in Indian startups dipped about 77% year-over-year in the first seven months of 2023, Moneycontrol reported citing data from Venture Intelligence. Startups reportedly raised $4.4 billion between January and July this year, while the figure stood at $19.3 billion a year ago. The report noted that startups secured 344 funding deals till July 2023.
