Indian startups record lowest half-yearly funding in 4 years: PwC

Indian startups raised $3.8 billion across 298 deals in the first half of 2023, recording the lowest half-yearly funding in the last four years, a report by PwC India stated. The six-month funding also saw a dip of about 36% compared to the same period a year ago. Investors are now spending more time doing due diligence, the report noted.
