India overtakes Hong Kong to become world's 4th largest stock market again
India has become the world's fourth largest stock market again after BSE-listed firms' m-cap rose to $5.18 trillion and surpassed that of Hong Kong-listed firms. Indian markets had achieved the milestone on January 23 but later fell in the list after Hong Kong's Hang Seng index entered a bull market, surging 12%. US remains world's largest market with $56.49-trillion m-cap.
