Indian stocks end in green for 2nd day as Sensex jumps 830 points

Indian benchmark indices extended their surge for a second consecutive session on Friday, with the Sensex ending 827.57 points higher at 77,569.39 and the Nifty up 244.10 points at 24,206.90 at close. IT stocks led the rally after TCS jumped nearly 4% following its June-quarter results. The rally was also supported by broad-based buying across sectors amid positive global cues.
