Indian students’ applications to US colleges drop by 15% amid tougher visa rules

There has been a 15% decline in applications from Indian students to US colleges, data by Common App revealed. This comes amid changes to US student visa policy, with the previous “duration of status” system replaced by four-year limit for F-1 and J-1 students. There's also uncertainty over programme which allows international graduates to work in US after their studies.
