Indian techie killed after car swept away in floods in US

A 33-year-old Indian IT professional and student, Venkatesh Doppalapudi, died after the car he was driving got swept away in flash floods in Kansas, US. Doppalapudi, an H-1B visa holder who lived in Omaha in Nebraska, was driving back from Houston. The rescue was initially hampered due to strong currents. Doppalapudi hailed from Andhra Pradesh.
