Indian trucker arrested in US over 'theft' of tungsten powder worth $3 mn
An Indian truck driver was arrested in the US for allegedly stealing $2.86 million worth of tungsten oxide powder. Officials alleged that the accused, identified as 31-year-old Deepak Kumar, produced three forms of identification upon his arrest, including an invalid work visa. Tungsten oxide powder is a high-value industrial material used in defence, electronics and advanced manufacturing.
