Indian woman, who said she was tortured in Kuwait, rescued

Vanitha, a Tamil Nadu woman reportedly working as a domestic helper, was rescued from Kuwait after an SOS video in which she alleged torture and said she had not received wages for two months. She had appealed to state authorities for help returning to India. Her mother, Vennila, alleged that an agent had duped her daughter with promises of job.
