Indian woman with baby stuck on plane for 10 hrs with no food, airline to pay ₹1.5 lakh

An Indian woman travelling with her infant son was allegedly kept on an aircraft for nearly 10 hours without adequate food, water or assistance after a Los Angeles flight to Mumbai was delayed and cancelled. A consumer commission has ordered the international airline to pay ₹1.5 lakh to the passenger. It held the airline responsible for deficient service and negligence.
