Indian worker called 'slave' by KFC manager in UK; gets ₹80 lakh compensation

A tribunal ordered a London KFC outlet to pay an Indian ex-worker £67,000 (nearly ₹80 lakh) in compensation after he accused his manager of racial discrimination and wrongful dismissal. The man alleged that his Sri Lankan Tamil manager denied him annual leave and referred to him as "slave" while talking to another colleague. He resigned months after overhearing the remarks.
