Indian wrestler Deepak Nehra defeated Pakistan's Tayab Raza in the men's freestyle 97 kg event to bag a bronze medal at CWG 2022. With this, India bagged six medals in wrestling at CWG 2022 on Day 9, including three gold and three bronze medals. Overall, India bagged 12 medals in wrestling at CWG 2022.
