Indian-American takes oath as judge in US over video call from Kerala

An Indian-origin US citizen took oath as a judge of the Fort Bend County Court in Texas through videoconferencing from Kerala's Kasargod district. Juli A Mathew was among the three Indian-American Democrats who were sworn in as Fort Bend County judges. Four years ago, Mathew became the first Indian-American woman to be elected to a judge's bench in the US.
