Indian-origin engineer to head NASA's Moon to Mars Program

Amit Kshatriya, an Indian-origin software and robotics engineer, has been appointed as first head of NASA's newly-established Moon to Mars Program. As per NASA, Kshatriya will be responsible for planning and implementation of the program, which aims to help NASA carry out "bold" human missions to the Moon and "land the first humans on Mars". Kshatriya joined NASA in 2006.
