Indian-origin Ireland PM Leo Varadkar visits ancestral village in Maharashtra

Leo Varadkar, the Indian-origin Prime Minister of Ireland, visited his ancestral village in Malvan in the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra on Sunday. It was his first visit to the village of Varad after becoming Ireland's PM in June 2017. The 40-year-old politician's father was born in Bombay (now Mumbai) and moved to the United Kingdom to work as a doctor.
