Indian-origin man asked to pay ₹18 lakh to family of women killed in Dubai

A Dubai court ordered an Indian-origin man to pay 80,000 dirhams (over ₹18 lakh) in blood money to the family of two women who were killed in a car accident in June. The man had accidentally rammed the car carrying the women in Al Barsha. The women died on the spot while other family members in the car suffered injuries.
