Indian-origin PM of Mauritius to hand over power to son

Indian-origin Mauritian Prime Minister Anerood Jugnauth on Saturday said that he is stepping down to hand over power to his son Pravind Jugnauth. The 86-year-old claimed that "time has come for the country to have a young leadership that represents the future". Pravind who is the incumbent Finance Minister is expected to be named Prime Minister early next week.
