Indian-origin Preeti Sinha to lead UN Capital Development Fund

Indian-origin investment and development banker Preeti Sinha has been appointed as the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF). The organisation provides investment capital and technical support in the Least Developed Countries (LDCs). "Sinha will lead UNCDF's work to harness the untapped growth potential of the LDCs," an official statement said.
